Privacy Policy

1.1.    General

On the basis of Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection regulations (Data Protection Act, FADP), every person has the right to the protection of their privacy and the protection of their personal data against misuse. Personal data pursuant to Section 1.3 is treated confidentially, not analysed and not shared with third parties.

No personal data is generated or stored in the use of the CARBURA website.

1.2.    Hosting partner and logfile data

The CARBURA website is created with the CMS Typo3 and hosted at Mittwald GmbH in Germany.

The hosting provider stores the following data in logfiles when the website is accessed: IP address, directory protection user, date, time, accessed pages, protocols, status code, data quantity, referrer, user agent and accessed host name. The IP address is stored in a partially anonymised form to eliminate the possibility of personal analysis (cf. www.mittwald.de/faq/service-informationen/faq/datenschutz-alles-wichtige-zur-dsgvo).

1.3.    Login area of the website and frontend user data

The CARBURA website is split into two parts: a public area and a password-protected area. Only the statements according to Section 1.2 apply to the former; no personal data is generated or stored. In the case of the latter, password-protected area, CARBURA creates corporate or personal users (frontend users) in Typo3 and provides the access data to the corresponding persons. By accessing the login area of our website, users give their consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable basis under data protection law.

When creating a frontend user, the following attributes may be collected (* = required disclosure); only the three required attributes are usually collected and stored:

  • Username*
  • Password*
  • User group*
  • Company
  • Title and name
  • Address, post code, city, country
  • Telephone, fax, email, website
  • Image (photo)
  • Access (start, stop; = the user can log in between these dates)
  • Information (remarks)

Frontend users are stored in the Typo3 database for as long as the respective company or person has a business relationship with CARBURA. After that, the user data is deleted.

No data is stored in Typo3 when accessing pages of the login area. Only the username and password are matched with the data saved in the Typo3 user module; based on this process, the pages and content are displayed accordingly. This means that it is not possible to analyse who accessed which pages at what time.

1.4.    Cookies, tracking, etc.

The CARBURA website does not use cookies or tracking. We have not integrated any social media services or other plugins. All links refer only to external pages.

1.5.    Data security

Technical data security is the responsibility of the hosting provider Mittwald GmbH and is regulated in the non-disclosure agreement between Mittwald GmbH and CARBURA. The “technical and organisational measures” taken by Mittwald GmbH encompass the following areas:

  • Confidentiality (including access, entry and admission controls, transfer control and encryption)
  • Integrity (including input control)
  • Availability and resilience (availability control and rapid restart procedures)
  • Data protection management systems

As a company domiciled in Germany, Mittwald GmbH is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR: EU Directive 2016/679).

1.6.    Rights

You may request that CARBURA provides information regarding the data it stores about you and demand the rectification, erasure and blocking of individual pieces of personal data at any time.

Moreover, you may revoke your consent to this Privacy Policy at any time, with effect for the future. You may send your notice of revocation to CARBURA, for example, by post or email (contact details can be found on the “Contact” page of our website or according to Section 1.7).

1.8.    Amendment to the Privacy Policy

Amendments to this Privacy Policy apply from the time of their publication on our website. Personal data collected under an older version of the Privacy Policy shall be processed according to that older version of the Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to amend the Privacy Policy at any time.
